that can be used the right way or the wrong way. It can be used for creation or destruction. Just like the Internet marketing tools available to us.
A hammer can be used to:
- Help someone
- Hurt someone
- Hang a beautiful painting
- Smash a painting to pieces
- Erect a building
- Vandalize a building
We shouldn’t look at the tool as a savior — and we shouldn’t demonize it either. The tool is an inanimate object that can be used properly or improperly.
I am a big advocate of using tools to grow my tiny business. The specific tools used are irrelevant. Certainly some tools are better for reaching a particular audience than others – but believe me when I say that it won’t be the tool that makes or breaks your tiny business.
Use the tools you are most comfortable with. Use them properly to build something — not destroy. Create win-wins with your tools.
And be careful not to bloody your thumb.
How does this apply to your Internet marketing? Are there tools that you fear? Are there tools that you abuse? Are there tools that you think are going to be the savior of your business?
