There is a lot to be learned from this model and I will be writing more posts with modifications made to this model in the future.
Q: What is so compelling about that model?
A: It is a working model of a Content Marketing strategy that can be adopted by Tiny & Mighty, Inc with with almost no cost and very little time invested.
The Hub
The hub of this Content Marketing strategy is a blog or a website with blogging functionality.
The blog or website with blogging capability is where all of your content should be found as well as whatever you are using to make money including:
- Physical Products
- Services
- Informational Products
- Affiliate Advertising
- etc, etc
The Spokes
The arrows or “spokes” represent the syndication and broadcast of your content to your audience.
The goal being to drive more traffic back to your website/blog in an effort to convert them to sales.
In this case the small business is using:
- Email Marketing
- Social Media
- Podcasting/Vodcasting
- RSS
Each spoke adds members to the companies audience and increases their reach.
After all, some prospects prefer to get their information from eMail and others through iTunes. It doesn’t take much more time to add something to iTunes or shoot it out to your email list.
