Blogging is So Easy – A Turtle Can Do It!

I am a firm believer that virtually every industry or business could benefit from blogging. As the Internet matures, we are beginning to see a separation between those websites that are stuck in the ways of Web 1.0 and those that have embraced Web 2.0 technology.

The name of the game is creating interesting and engaging content for your target audience. Petropolis is a pet grooming and boarding house for animals and Charlie the Turtle is a mascot for the organization.

Petropolis could very easily recite the same refrain I hear from many businesses concerning content creation for their website — “I can’t create interesting website content for this pet boarding and grooming business!”

If you visit the Petropolis website you can see in an instant that they understand internet marketing. They have either hired a consultant or have someone full time that has an understanding of the power of the Internet.

I should also mention that I did not find this website through a search engine or any other place online. I heard about it on a popular morning talk show here in the Saint Louis area. The reason they were discussing it was because it was interesting that the organization had a turtle that could blog.
