Google Experimenting With Video Pay Per Click (PPC) Ads

You can run but you can’t hide from online video!

– And not just in the natural search results and on YouTube — it is also starting to show itself in the paid results.

The first I heard of this was from the guys over at ReelSEO.  Their article about online video in paid search showed a screenshot of video that is making its way into the paid search results at Google.

What Are Paid Search Results?

Google makes the lions share of its money through a program called Google Adwords, it is one of the many Pay Per Click (PPC) programs available.  The results that appear at the very top and right of a search results page are paid ads and are usually denoted with the words “Sponsored Links.”

Google has been fiddling around with all kinds of new features in their paid ads to make for a better user experience and to make more money for their share holders.

The latest evolution of Google Adwords will change the advertising landscape dramatically.
